Upon signing the Value Car and Truck Rental Agreement, the renter agrees to all of the terms and conditions stated in that agreement, as well as all the terms and conditions outlined in the rental folder and those posted on the www.valuecartruckrental.com website.

These terms and conditions may vary dependant on renting location and may change from time to time without notice.

1. Age Requirements:
   Minimum age 25.
2. Drivers License and Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) coverage (insurance):
   (Acceptance may vary dependant on Renter qualifications, Renting Location or Vehicle Type)
   • Self Insurance Coverage (renters automobile policy):
     If renter’s automobile policy has “Transferrable Coverage for Rental Vehicles” (OPCF 27 or similar) option, written proof of insurance coverage is required.
   • Self insurance Coverage (credit card):
     Credit card coverage is assumed coverage, NOT guaranteed coverage. If renters are using Credit Card insurance coverage, they must live within 50 kilometers of the renting location. All charges for damage including, but not limited to, vehicle damage, towing, loss of use, fuel, administrative charges, legal charges, traffic charges, toll charges, rental vehicle down time and any and all charges related to a damage incident, will be charged to the renter. It is the renter’s requirement to collect from their credit card company for any and all charges relating to any incident.
3. Security Deposits:
   • Visa, Master Card or American Express:
     All renters must have a valid credit card (Visa, Master Card or American Express) in their name. Security deposits will be processed on all rentals by a pre-authorized deposit on the renter’s credit card. The deposit amount will vary corresponding to the renter’s estimated rental charge.
   • Visa/Master Card Debit Cards:
     (Acceptance may vary dependant on Renting Location)
     A Visa/Master Card debit card may be used for the surety deposit if the following criteria is met:
     • The name and address shown on the renter’s license must be the same as their home address and must be within 50 kilometers of the renting location.
     • Renters must present 2 of the following items, each of which must indicate the renters current home address as stated on their driver’s license:
       1. Utility bill (original and dated within 30 days)
       2. Cell phone bill (original and dated within 30 days)
       3. Paycheque/paystub (original and dated with 30 days)
       4. Original declaration page from an active auto insurance policy

     Deposits may be held up to 60 days after return of the rental.

4. 407 ETR Tolls, Parking/Moving Violations (tickets):
   All 407 ETR tolls, parking tickets, speeding tickets including but not limited to Photo Radar and Red Light Camera charges will be charges to the renters’ credit card upon receipt. Administrative charges will apply.
   
5. Rental rates are as posted on the website and may vary from location to location and are subject to change without notice.
   Regular weekend rates are a 3-day package and are restricted to the weekend. Holiday or long weekend rates are a 4-day package and are restricted to the long weekend. Other package rates are available, contact your closest Value location for information.
6. REFUELING: all Value vehicles are rented with a full tank of fuel and MUST be returned with a full tank of fuel. refueling charges are at a rate of $4.00 per litre.
7. UNLIMITED KILOMETERS: Value offers unlimited kilometers on most vehicle rentals in the province of Ontario. Upon request additional kilometer packages are available outside of the province of Ontario. Length of rental can affect rentals with unlimited kilometers and kilometer packages. For additional information contact your closest Value location. Unlimited kilometer packages are subject to change without notice.
8. RESERVATIONS: Reservations can be made on line at the company website www.valuecartruckrental.com or by contacting the location directly. Reservations made online (E-REZ) will require verification by a Value representative. Value has the right to verify or refuse any reservation.
